Greetings to Nikos Maziotis

Nikos Maziotis, a fighter with the Revolutionary Struggle organisation, has been released from prison after a long journey marked by guerrilla warfare, numerous trials, two lengthy periods of detention, an escape attempt and a gunshot wound sustained during a clash with the police.

The International Red Help (IRH) wishes to welcome the return to freedom of this valiant comrade, who has maintained a stance of resistance both in the courts and in prison.

The IRH also wishes to acknowledge the comrade’s various political, theoretical and strategic contributions, as well as the responses provided, together with comrade Pola Roupa, to the questions we had formulated in 2017 [see the PDF here]. Finally, the SRI calls for the release of all anarchist, revolutionary and anti-fascist activists detained by the Greek state.
